Calira helps you manage bookings in one lab, or across a whole organisation.
Calira offers two main industry plans, Premium and Enterprise, both priced annually based on the number of user seats that need access to your account. Premium covers core booking, scheduling, reporting, maintenance, and announcements. Enterprise adds SAML 2.0 SSO, ELN integrations, multi-lab account hierarchy, and onboarding support. Academic pricing is available at a discounted rate and offers another tier, Core, for basic functionality only.
A user seat is one active user with access to your lab account. Seats are reusable and interchangeable: you can remove a user and add a different one without affecting your bill, as long as your total active seats stay within your subscription. Only net-new seats added above your original count are charged at the end of the subscription on a pro rata basis.
Yes. You can invite additional users at any time throughout the 12-month subscription. Any seats added beyond your original number are charged pro rata at the end of the subscription period, so there's no disruption to your team's access.
Calira accepts payment by bank transfer (against a purchase order, invoiced with a 30-day payment period) or by credit card via the self-checkout or a payment link in the quotation email. Both options activate the subscription immediately.
Yes. Academic institutions can access a Core plan (a single annual fee covering unlimited users, equipment, and bookings) as well as discounted Premium and Enterprise tiers. Full details are on the dedicated academia pricing page.
